Flygt's 3000 Series pumps are non-clogging pumps suitable for handling liquids containing solids in a variety of applications. These pumps cover a wide performance range and are classified as low, medium, or high head pumps. They are submersible, close-coupled, single-stage centrifugal pumps. Each pump model is designed around a common motor frame that utilizes different hydraulic systems to achieve the desired flow/head characteristics.
Typical applications for the 3000 Series pumps include the transfer of liquids and solids, as well as water-based liquids such as wastewater in municipal and industrial sewage collection systems, wastewater treatment plants, and stormwater and surface runoff pumping stations. They are also widely used in residential, commercial, and agricultural applications, such as small lift stations, grinding pump installations, construction wastewater boilers, and manure pumping. In addition to the above applications, Flygt N Series pumps are suitable for sustained, high-efficiency wastewater pumping and for pumping sludge in concentrations up to 7%. Most models can be supplied in explosion-proof versions to meet local and national code requirements. Our line of chopper pumps, designated the F Series, is ideal for applications with a potentially high load of coarse, heavy, and fibrous materials, such as certain municipal applications, hospitals, institutions, and prisons. These pumps chop incoming solids into smaller pieces before they are pumped.
